Friday was Mr Bean’s last day in Siem Reap so the Journo and I planned an early start. The alarm was set for 6am, so we ignored that and rose at 7.30am, just to show it that it isn’t the boss. We headed to Two D’s for breaky and to take part in Bruce’s traditional beer send-off. I ordered a bacon and egg roll and Angkor Smooth to help him out. Journo thinks 9am beer is a little over the top but who are we to screw with tradition?
He got on the bus okay and hopefully he will be able to finish his trip without getting robbed. Good luck Mr Bean. May the force be with you (or an AK47).

It was great to have some nice company for my traditional beer send=off. It worked a treat as I was there in no time – or so it seems! Thanks for that. I am missing the class although it did get VERY hot in there! Very hot too were my bike rides out to the lotus fields, along with the dust. “Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun’ as the song goes!. I am looking forward to hearing more of your stories from Cambodia. The country has so much to offer and the people are so friendly. Enjoy your adventure
Mr Bean.

It was great to be part of your send-off, although sans beer on my part. We’ve been to the class a few times since you left and will keep dropping in when we can. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
