Couldn’t miss AFL grand final day, so we did a trip to Jungle Burger to catch the football action – and perhaps have a beer or two. This place is a very nice sports bar in Siem Reap, which sells great burgers. But we couldn’t say no to the chicken parmy, salad and chips for $5.50.
And it included a free beer.
To cap off the great atmosphere, there were flat screen TVs in the dunnies, so you didn’t miss any of the action.
The Journo’s team, the West Coast Eagles, took a dive at the end of the day. So glad we were there to see it.
After a good night’s sleep it’s almost time to head back to the same place to do the same thing only this time to watch the NRL grand final. May the Panadol be with you.

What a bargain! I found when we were in Thailand that after a few weeks of local food all I wanted was a good parmy and a beer. I wish I could find one at that price in Aus!

Yes, Kira we can get some great value food here. But then our income is much less as well so I guess it is all relative. Sometimes it is great to have some familiar western food, but I’m feeling like I’ve had too much recently. Time to have a few more Khmer dishes I think.
